Dropping off my wife at the college today, my son was upset and I decided to attempt to cheer him up a little. We let Anya cross in the crosswalk in front of us, and when she was just in front of us, I stepped on the clutch and revved the engine hard a couple of times. My son thought this was hilarious but my wife just turned back and rolled her eyes.
But what gave me a real kick was seeing the face of the driver in the other car who was also waiting for her to cross. TOTAL disbelief! He wasn't mad - he just could not believe I would do that to someone! Obviously, he had no clue we knew each other. Oh, lord, it was priceless and put a smile on my face for hours afterwards.
Please don't judge me and excuse me while I continue snickering...
