It’s great to see you back and on such fine form. I was missing my regular dose of Cock & Bull.

His cock exploded because some dick was talking about a pig? Oh my!

Actually, chickens can fly for relatively short distances, such as over a fence or into a tree (where they would roost for safety, if not domesticated). You can check this out on Wikipedia or you can just trust me. Our neighbors had chickens when I was growing up and I’ve seen them fly. (Usually only if you chase them.) I would expect this would only apply to free range chickens, but I don’t see Cock spending any time in a cage, so he should be able to fly. (And it does take a LOT of flapping to get a chicken into the air. When they take off it IS almost like they explode.)

They can fly a long way if you crank the cock-a-pault back far enough and the wind is just right. Too bad we can’t harness this new form of pig inspired energy, hmmm…

I thought Cock blew a gasket and managed to lose feathers while he went off… :D

We should make chickens fly more. Then there would be more meat on the wings for a sunday roast!

Oh, I’ sure that, with the right incentive, chickens can “fly”. Personally speaking, I flew low to the ground once being chased by a pack of crazed cows (true story).

@sco3tt “cock-a-pault” – I love that. Build one; I want to see pictures. And as for pigs, I have just one word: “BACON”. Well, OK, two words: “pork chops”. Or maybe just settle for “delicious”. (snicker)
